Azuka
A storyteller, as Wole Soyinka once emphasized; I conjure up my most inspiring works from the darkness, pains and suffering, tragedy and that gaping hollow that is life. I am a poet, ghost writer, short story writer, scriptwriter, video game writer and an aspiring novelist –all tailored into the Horror genre. A graduate of Architecture, I also dabble in technical writing, coding, design, and digital 3D modelling. I am also an online human rights activist most passionate about mental health and learning disabilities amongst children and adults in Nigeria, as well as HIV/AID awareness and the Inclusion of Minority (Gender and Sexual Orientation, etc.) in Nigeria. My dream is a dark one albeit, my hope is a Nigeria where the LGBTQ+ community and the girl-child in Nigeria aren’t subject to condemnation, but instead are given equal rights long due, as it is to the average Nigerian. One where everybody’s interest is put into account, and the past is neither erased nor forgotten. I am a lover of the works by Nina Simone, Lana del Rey, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Rosa Parks, H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen Kings, V.C. Andrews, as well as a few more. I believe every story matters. |
