We would like to inform you that SprinNG, the organization responsible for managing and maintaining the Nigerian Writers Database, has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new biography submissions and updates from July 2023 until further notice. We are currently enhancing our processes to provide a more seamless and customer-friendly experience for our users of the Nigerian Writers Database.
While these updates are underway, we want to assure you that the website, www.nigerianwriters.info, will remain fully accessible for searches. You will still be able to explore and utilize the existing database, searching for the biographies of Nigerian writers during this period. However, please note that no new biographies will be added or existing ones updated until the completion of our improvements.
We understand that this temporary suspension may cause inconvenience for some of our users, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Our aim is to create an even better platform for showcasing the achievements and contributions of Nigerian writers, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards this goal.
We anticipate providing an update on the progress of our enhancements in June 2024. Until then, we encourage you to make use of the existing resources available on the website and www.SprinNG.Org.

The SprinNG team is building the first online database for Nigerian writers, which hosts their biographies, blog links, and social media accounts. In addition to finding the names of these writers, you can search for information per theme or genre to find writers. This database launched on the 1st of January, 2019.
