Adeyemo Oluwatosin Maryam is a poet, freelance writer, and final year student of Biochemistry in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Nigeria. She was one of the spoken word artists at LAUTECH’s first student workshop, and she is one of the pioneers of Word Up - a literary meet up for writers in her school to inspire each other and share their art.
Her writings focus on themes like death, love, friendship, and mental health. She writes mostly from a place of empathy with messages of hope and survival. Some of her poems can be found on social media. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching movies, surfing the internet, and reading books that pique her interest. For her, choosing a literary role model is like asking her to choose between vanilla cake and ice-cream; none can be dropped for another. |
