Chiemeziem Everest Udochukwu writes in English and Igbo. His work appears in Jellyfish Review, Lolwe, The Yellow House, Peatsmoke Journal, Punocracy, Salamander Ink, Second Chance Lit, Kalahari Review, Fiction Niche, Sọọrọ Ụwa, Zeere Koro, and elsewhere.
He was a UNN-USA Alumni Scholarship Awardee in 2018 as an undergraduate. HIn addition, he won the EC Michaels’ Short Story Prize, emerged as a finalist for The Black Warrior Review Contest, The Quramo Writers Prize, and The Nigerian NewsDirect Poetry Prize, and been longlisted for the Kendeka Prize for African Literature, Kikwetu Flash Contest, and The Collins Elesiro Prize. He is a first graduate in Linguistics and Igbo studies and hopes to overcome his ADHD someday. |
