Faith Moyosore Agboola is a spoken word poet, writer, and cultural producer. In 2017, Faith headlined her first show, the Street Project Foundation's Concert, "A Journey Of A Thousand Miles," with a six-part poetry performance. Since then, Faith has shared her poetry on various stages and media platforms across Nigeria, including TEDxAlausa, City FM’s Lagos Poetry Sessions, WFM 91.7, Spoken Word Lagos, Kokopelli Night of Storytelling, Faaji Friday, Ubuntu Festival, Lagos International Poetry Festival, and GT Bank’s You Read, among others. She has also been commissioned to create poems for brands such as Norfolk Black History Month UK and Do Take Action.
She is the founder of The African Writers and the convener of African Writers Meet. In recognition of her work in literature, she was awarded the fully-funded Chevening Scholarship in 2020 to study for a master's degree in Creative Enterprise at De Montfort University. |
