​Favour N. Uchechukwu is a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University studying Psychology. She is a writer with an inborn love for poetic diction and language. Her writing was born out of grief from her mother’s death. However, she has since moved on and learned to find joy in the smallest things that come with life.
Favour has taken part in several competitions and is a mentee of the 2019 SprinNG Fellowship - Cohort 3. She is also a two-time winner of the weekly contests that happened during the programme period.
Favour aspires to take African literature to a whole new level and is continually inspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
