Ifeoluwa Ekpeti is an English Language and Media professional with proficiency in research and a keen eye for detail. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Ibadan and over five years of experience in creative writing and screenwriting. She has also built her career in several roles, including as literary intern, editor, media strategist, reporter, and reporter social analyst.
In 2020, she earned a certification in English and Media Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania and garnered cognate experience working with national and global NGOs dedicated to eradicating gender inequality and stereotypes. She is also involved in initiatives with interests in the education of the girl child. Attesting to this interest is the 2020 award for “Understanding the Right of Women and Girls” by the Young African Leaders Initiative. Ekpeti has a strong desire to use the media to effect social and political change. She hopes to create control groups in her work with private and public sectors of developing countries using cutting-edge techniques in journalism to combat misinformation and other associated barriers in the industry. |
