Bolaji Akintola (Imotola) studies at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a writer and a teacher. Bolaji manages a research and ICT firm, Paper Work, and teaches  Nigerian and African History. He sees creative writing majorly as a tool of enactment and re-enactment. His works have been published in literary magazines, journals, and anthologies— AFAS Review, Deep Dreams, One Jacar Press, Brittle Paper, Peregrine Reads, and Kalahari Review.
