Jessica Ajuonuma, also known by the pseudonym Jessica Clair, is a Nigerian writer. She grew up in the popular jungle city of Ajegunle, where creativity breeds. Her writing fire was birthed from the bedtime stories told to her dad and the books he gave her.
In addition to creative writing, Jessica does academic writing, content writing, and blogging. Her works are on themes like self-awareness, hypocrisy, love, and motivation. Jessica has other passions, like inspiring young African women to wear their afro with pride. Thus, she founded Happily Nappy, a WhatsApp community for women who want to grow their hair long and healthy. She volunteers with various organisations in Nigeria too. When she is not doing any of these, she's piling up pictures of libraries and offices that she hopes to build someday. Jessica has plans of publishing her own books-short stories and poems in the nearest future. She also hopes to teach younger writers like herself some ropes that she has learned over time. |
