Mike straddles the two distinct turfs of creative writing and editing with some distinction. He has been published in over 50 international journals, many of which are accessible online. He is the inaugural winner of the Harambee Literary Prize. His writing specialty is prose (short stories and essays). He's the author of "Cowboy Lamido," a children's book on the approved list across many states. Mike has worked in the media as a Speechwriter/Technical Assistant to the late Prof Dora Akunyili as Information/Communication Minister.
He was also a Special Assistant to the DG/CEO at Radio Nigeria(FRCN). He was a columnist at the Guardian on Sunday, writing the Good Manners column, and a pioneer presenter of the FCT Progress Report on the network service of the NTA. |
