Winifred Òdúnóku is a storyteller and freelance writer who sees writing as an art of self-expression. She loves to explore the themes of love, relationships, survival, and race. A graduate of SprinNG Writing Fellowship and SBMEN Creative Women's Writing Workshop, her works have appeared and/or are forthcoming in Kalahari Review, Nnöko Stories, Tush Magazine, Periferias Journal, Punocracy, Ngiga Review, Nzuri Magazine, Heart Balm Literary, The Moveee, and Molecule Tiny Lit Magazine. Winifred was longlisted for the African Writers Award in 2020 for her play: A Journey in a Circle.
Beyond writing, Winifred is a teacher and change maker who has written a book for young teachers on how to leave an indelible mark in their professional endeavors. She loves listening to music with a headset and tweets @majestic_winnie. |
